Hello, I am Noemi Flores, but most call me Mimi. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California and am working with clients statewide via telehealth. My passion is working with kids, teenagers, and young adults, and enjoy building that therapeutic relationship with this population. My approach to therapy depends on the person that I am working with since each individual has their own unique journey.
My communication style is calm, understanding, and open-minded without judgment so clients feel comfortable and feel like they have a safe space.
My approach to goal setting with clients is collaborating together to identify the things that the client would like or need to work on during sessions. I try to build that trust with the client, and work together on the goals, allowing you to process things, look at the progress, and make any needed changes throughout the sessions.
