About
I hold a B.S. degree in Education from University of Indianapolis, a M.S. degree in Counseling from Butler University, and a M.S.W. degree from Indiana University. I have worked in home, school and office settings. I utilize various modalities to treat a variety of mental health needs. Individual, family and periodic group therapy formats are available. I recently added a new member to my treatment team, Georgia, the therapy dog. She is pictured in another section of my profile. Due to the recent influx of referrals, appointments after 5:00 are limited, at this time. We look forward to meeting you.
I have personal and professional knowledge related to mood issues, trauma and ADHD. Other areas of interest include: attachment, trauma, grief and divorce. I find it helpful to use a systemic perspective. Confidential collaboration with school personnel, physicians, and other designated individuals is available, per client/family request.
I enjoy my work and make every effort to ensure ethical care. Flexible office hours are available. I see therapy as a way to help people initiate "wildflower change." Wildflower change involves figuring out who you are, challenging yourself to find your purpose, and living an authentic life that brings balance, hope and health.
