Many people have difficulty truly understanding their struggles, seeking out answers only to receive diagnoses that don't feel accurate or are invalidating of our lived experience. Even being told that the things we experience are "all in our head" and we just need to "try harder." This is often especially true for adults with ADHD &/or Autism, resulting in burnt out & feeling stretched thin after decades of wearing a mask of inauthenticity, from trying to fit themselves into the mold that society has deemed the "right" way to be. But what if I told you that's not true? That there is no wrong or right wrong way to be in the world.
My holistic, neurodivergent, and diversity affirming approach focuses not only on areas of struggle, but also on strengths and skills that will serve as continued supports in therapeutic growth. I work with clients to help them come into their authentic self with the use of interventions from attachment, somatic, and personal integration therapies.
Whether through psychological testing, individual therapy, or coaching, I take care to consider individual past experiences in both interpersonal relationships and societal systems of oppression, and how this has impacted your view of self, others, and the world.
