Using a non-judgmental, empathic, and warm approach, I like to meet each client where they are at and utilize the modalities that best suit their needs. I believe that by creating a safe space to feel heard and understood, the therapeutic relationship can foster increased self-awareness, acceptance, and personal growth in many ways. I enjoy working with women, including college/graduate students and young adults. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, women’s issues, body image/self-esteem issues, and managing life stressors and transitions.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, compassionate, and collaborative. I have experience with evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I enjoy practicing from a Person-Centered and Strengths-Based approach with goal setting and solutions in mind.
I take a holistic approach and consider lifestyle interventions that can assist with the best therapeutic outcomes. I have experience in and enjoy working with women looking for compassionate support around dating/relationships and navigating the modern dating world.
