I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with experience in hospital, inpatient, and residential levels of care. I am passionate about offering a non-judgmental, direct, and compassionate approach to help clients build resiliency and address their concerns in a safe and productive manner. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, psychosis, and mood disorders. I completed both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Auburn University.
My experience in inpatient hospitalization and residential care has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to help clients navigate severe mental health concerns. I use an integrative approach along with techniques like reality therapy, mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
