Therapy is a journey into self-discovery. I believe in creating a safe and positive atmosphere for my clients to experience healing and growth. My work with clients often emphasizes the dynamic relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how they affect our life and connection with others. I view therapy as a collaborative approach in order to help you reach your desired goals. I strongly believe the therapeutic relationship to be a healing intervention. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have over 5 years of experience providing counseling to clients of diverse backgrounds and ages.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my treatment approach, with a focus on mindfulness, positive coping skills, trauma-informed care and increasing self-awareness. My specialties include addressing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, and relationship and attachment issues.
It is my hope to help you on your path towards empowerment and creating positive change in your life. I look forward to working with you.
