About
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing disordered eating and people seeking to make peace with food and their body. My work also includes people in relationships and individuals experiencing sexual problems, separation and divorce, infidelity, and co-parenting. I use a nonjudgemental, collaborative, person-centered approach to address the individual's needs. I work with individuals to help them recognize their own strengths and incorporate positive coping strategies as they move forward. I believe that creating trust and a little bit of humor go a long way in working through the struggles we face in life.
I have been fortunate to work with individuals with eating and food issues, divorce, sex and relationships, and family problems. Also, anxiety, depression, ADHD, SUD, and compulsive behavioral issues. I draw from EFT, CBT, Health At Every Size, and Attachment-Based therapies. I welcome all expressions of sexuality, gender, and relationships.
My goal is to find what approach works best for each individual and couple/relationship to find balance and contentment in their life. I prioritize the security of the therapist-client relationship and work to provide a safe environment for individuals. It's always my privilege to join them on their personal and relationship journeys.
