In addition to working with anxiety, depression, eating disorders and other compulsive behaviors, I am an AASECT and SHA certified sex therapist. I work with people in relationships and individuals experiencing sexual problems, separation and divorce, infidelity, and co-parenting. I use a nonjudgemental, collaborative, person-centered approach to address the individual's needs. I help individuals recognize their own strengths and incorporate positive coping strategies as they move forward. I believe that creating trust and a little bit of humor go a long way in working through the struggles we face in life.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches that include EFT, ACT, Health At Every Size, and Attachment-Based therapies. I welcome all expressions of sexuality, gender, and relationships and have been fortunate to work with, as well as be part of the queer community.
My goal is to find what approach works best for each individual and couple/relationship to find balance and contentment in their life. I prioritize the security of the therapist-client relationship and work to provide a safe environment for individuals.
