I have extensive experience working with older adults and appreciate the stories and wisdom that many older clients bring to therapy; I also believe change can happen at any age. I enjoy working with the unique challenges of younger adults and men as well, especially those searching for ways to cope with life transitions and changes. We live in a fast-paced work where we often don't get a chance to reflect, at times leaving us feeling alienated from ourselves and the environment. Our work together can help you pause, look inward, and ultimately, to thrive.
I offer a collaborative approach that addresses your specific needs and personality, as well as the particular challenges of aging such as grief/loss, health concerns, transitions, and rethinking one's life purposes. My therapy style tends to be eclectic, combining person-centered approaches with psychodynamic understandings and EMDR techniques.
