Greetings! I would be honored to support you in your journey toward growth and healing. After a 14-year career in local government and community development, I've shifted my work to focus on mental health with the goal of providing compassionate care to individuals 13 years or older as well as couples and families. My approach to counseling is rooted in trauma-informed, person-centered, and existential perspectives. This means I am focused on creating a space where you can explore your most challenging thoughts and feelings, your most deeply held values, and all aspects of your identity as part of the therapy process.
My areas of focus include: Depression and Anxiety, Racial Trauma, Grief and Loss, Burnout, Relationship Challenges, Religious Trauma, Sexual and Gender Identity, Sexual and Gender Identity, and Healthy Masculinity. While I am here to support individuals of all professional backgrounds, I specialize in working with those who work in community service roles.
