I am an experienced and empathetic Clinical Mental Health Counselor. My experience includes individual, group, and family counseling, as well as working with struggling adolescents and families in a variety of settings, including adventure therapy. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I love working with adults, teens (16+), and families. Courageous effort, self-discovery, and profound growth are what continually draw me to this work. I'm passionate about walking alongside courageous people in their path to healing, growth, and self-discovery.
I bring a curious, non-judgemental approach to my work while utilizing: mindfulness, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Attachment Theory.
I was raised at the foot of the Wasatch mountains, and enjoy being active and getting outside. You’ll find me playing tennis, cycling, hiking, paddle boarding, or snowshoeing in my free time. I also like a good yard project to (hopefully) add beauty and be more water-wise. My wife and I love traveling and playing with our Miniature Schnauzer (Pancho).
