Noam Schneck, PhD, is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist and an assistant professor of psychology at Columbia University in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Schneck provides psychological treatments utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, insight oriented therapy and mindfulness approaches within the context of a warm and caring relationship. His research work investigates the processes by which unwanted and painful thoughts come to mind and influence behavior and life functioning. Surviving Suicide UWS
This group aims to build a community of people surviving suicide loss. We will work to process the guilt, shame, confusion, and the myriad other feelings that so often accompany this loss. We will also integrate indoor and outdoor meditation techniques. This is an in-person group on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
