I am a queer, transmasculine psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience across psychiatric hospitals, schools, nonprofits, and private practice. I am passionate about working with LGBTQ adolescents and adults, particularly those that identify as trans or gender-non-conforming, and the parents of LGBTQ youth. I view therapy as a deeply collaborative process between clinician and patient, in which we work together to make meaning of recurring dynamics and interpersonal patterns, to allow for different ways of engaging with the present and future. As a therapist I am warm, empathetic, curious, and nonjudgemental.
I operate from a relational framework which means that I don’t view symptoms and behaviors in isolation but instead acknowledge how they are deeply informed by an individual’s relationships, families of origin, intersecting identities, and positionality within the sociopolitical world.
I provide individual and family therapy, parent coaching for the caregivers of trans and gender-nonconforming youth, as well as for parents of children with severe mental illness, clinical supervision, and consultation. I have in-person and virtual availability.
