If you’re looking for a therapist who will be relentlessly optimistic about your chances for therapeutic change, then I’m your guy! A key element to change, growth, adaptation, evolution, however we want to refer to it, is to BELIEVE that it is possible – to have hope. I wouldn’t be in the business (or the enormous amount of student debt) I’m in if I didn’t believe in it, or if I didn't believe in you. You are the expert on your life and your experiences. I’m an expert on therapy stuff. Together, we'll be a team of experts attacking the problem head-on.
I consider myself a generalist at this point in my career and feel comfortable working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, backgrounds, and populations, especially those who may feel marginalized or overlooked, though I do have a soft spot for adolescents and teenagers. I am also fluent in Spanish, which allows me to work cross-culturally.
Like country music star Luke Bryan, “I believe most people are good.” That said, life can be a nasty, ugly, and straight-up raw experience, and I’m not afraid to go there with you in therapy. So, schedule a consultation with me at White Pine Family Counseling to see if we'll be a good fit!
