Ensuring a safe space for my clients to express themselves, is something I hold dear to my heart as a therapist. Navigating my own mental health while holding identities that conflict with one another, has been nothing short of difficult. In seeking to dismantle mental health stigmas within my cultures, I’ve worked towards healing and finding peace within myself. I have overcome the isolation that comes with feeling unsafe in your own mind. I feel I am called to help others realize that you don’t have to walk alone and feeling safe is possible!
As a queer woman of faith, I’m especially available to those seeking an LGBTQ+ inclusive Christian therapist. Ultimately, my therapeutic style utilizes a person-centered approach where I focus on self-expression without judgement, understanding of the world from your lens, and incorporating your values into treatment.
Searching for a therapist can be daunting— scared of the unknown but exhausted from carrying the weight alone. I finally took a chance on myself and to this day it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. In case no one has told you today, I am so proud of you for taking a chance on yourself by visiting this platform, and I hope to see you soon!
