I work with individuals and couples facing crises, complex relationship dynamics, mood disorders including bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and major life transitions. My approach is depth-oriented and growth-focused, helping clients regain clarity, agency, and a stronger sense of self. I specialize in working with clients who feel stuck in recurring patterns, identity confusion, or emotional reactivity and are seeking meaningful, lasting change rather than surface-level coping.

Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it now. Action has magic, grace, and power in it.(Goethe) I am passionate about psychotherapy because it frequently reminds me that magic, grace, and powerful change are possible. We all feel confused, stuck, or hopeless during the course of our lives. Personally and professionally my work confirms that we are designed to grow towards healing and authentic happiness. As the sources of suffering often originate from impairments or losses in our primary relationships,so the greatest potential in psychotherapy lies in the relationship between client and therapist.

Sometimes it is difficult when we find ourselves in situations and relationships, doing, thinking and feeling the same thing again and again. People come to therapy to develop increased self-awareness, to understand what is happening inside and get to the root of problems that interfere with accomplishing goals and developing a healthy, satisfying life. Therapy is a place where you can be heard and understood without judgement that supports you to change old patterns of behavior, thought and feelings, and to make different choices in life. Therapy is worth the time, and the investment because you are worth getting to know.

Many times in our lives we are driven by pain from past events. Much of our experience has been working alongside those who are faced with issues of anger, general and acute stress, PTSD, anxiety, and depression; both youth and adults. We have a deep understanding of the nuances of trauma, generational trauma and the disconnect it can cause. We work with you collaboratively to help you make the changes you want to make in your life.

Life can be kind, chaotic, saddening, dark, mesmerizing, or unexpected. All perspectives different for everyone while every year or decade we become a new version of ourselves we try to understand. Sometimes it is hard to do on our own, which is why therapy is a great option to have as support. My approach to therapy is to help you find movement in the stuck, coping in the intense emotions and stress, and understanding who you are outside of what is or is not benefiting you. It can be learning about who you are and what you want out of this life.

As a therapist, my goal is to help my clients work through the difficulties of life and create meaningful change in their lives. I love working with young people experiencing various things, such as traumatic experiences, PTSD, grief, depression, and anxiety. I recognize that not all people express themselves best with words, and strive to find the right methods for each client. I will often incorporate mindfulness techniques, breath work, and somatic techniques in addition to art therapy to assist my clients in building a mind-body connection.

We all know that fairy tale endings are rare. For the majority of us, the real challenge is figuring out what happiness means to us. From a young age, we are bombarded with ideas of what it should be, but it's up to us to determine our own meaning. It's not easy - we're often influenced by family, friends, education, and society in our pursuit of happiness. But ultimately, it takes bravery and accountability to face each day and make choices for our own well-being.

Our minds shape every moment of our lives—and therapy offers a unique opportunity to engage with the mind in a healing, transformative way. But the mind isn't just thoughts and feelings; it's also our bodies, relationships, culture, work, memories, imagination, and vision for the future. Therapy can help us make sense of these many parts of ourselves, fostering integration and a more nourishing experience of life.

Hello! My name is Kevin, and I am accepting new clients. I want to help my clients engage in their life in a way that they are proud of and happy with. I like clients who want help with their goals, to unpack and understand their own thoughts or emotions, and people who are recovering from trauma, childhood, experiences, or are just looking to reorient themselves to better handle their day-to-day. They dream big, and want to live life to the fullest. They want to be more in alignment with their authentic selves.

The uncertainty of healing from within can be challenging due to feeling stuck triggered by fear and loss of control. Struggling with the stressors of life often leads to anxiety, depression, grief, and addiction. With compassion and empathy, vulnerability can be empowering when you feel safe and secure enough to regulate negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Collaborating together to prioritize your genuine mental and emotional needs is the main approach in which to foster personal growth.

Psychosis Therapists
What’s the most effective treatment for psychosis?
The most effective treatment for psychosis is coordinated specialty care. In this model, a team of professionals works with a patient to address all aspects of the underlying disorder. This approach incorporates individual or group therapy, employment and education support, family support and education, medication management (which often involves low doses of antipsychotics), and case management to facilitate problem-solving as needed.

When should people seek treatment for psychosis?
People should seek immediate treatment at the earliest indication of psychosis. Symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, disorganized or blocked speech, and agitated body movements. Early signs that a person may be developing a disorder that will lead to psychosis include suspiciousness of others, memory problems and distractibility, an inability to think clearly, rapid or nonsensical speech, withdrawal from friends or family, aggression toward others, and sensitivity to bright lights or noises.

What if psychosis is left untreated?
Without treatment, psychosis can have significant repercussions, including injuries, job loss, homelessness, financial or legal trouble, ruptured relationships, and suffering for the person and their family. While early treatment for psychosis often yields the best results, there is no point past which it becomes useless to seek treatment. At any point, treatment can make a difference.

How do I get someone else to seek treatment for psychosis?
It’s extremely difficult to watch a loved one suffer from hallucinations, delusions, and other elements of psychosis—sometimes exacerbated by their fears of treatment. Have a conversation with them in a quiet space and maintain a calm, supportive tone. Share your concerns about behaviors you’ve observed, suggest treatment, and explain the potential benefits. Listen carefully to their responses. The person may not be ready after one conversation, but with time, they may come around.
