A moment of deeply connecting with oneself through an embodied experience can allow for spontaneous change, and eliminate the need for constant seeking of new insight or retelling of the story. I listen to both your words and body with deep respect and sensitivity. I accept you as you are. I will help you gather your resources and embody self-compassion and strength, which will enable you to slowly and gently process pain, stress, and trauma. Through our work together, you will experience being able to lovingly soothe the pain, instead of going towards addictive processes or substances.

I accept Presbyterian, BCBS and United insurance.
I hold the belief that all humans have the innate capacity to grow towards greater health and healing. I believe woundings arise to heal when the psyche is ready to embark on the journey. I use an integrative approach that is rooted in psychodynamic and jungian orientation. Jungian work can often hold space in welcoming the unconscious to integrate more with the conscious. It is a dance of integration for the whole self, welcoming in dreams, shadows, archetypes and the like. Psychodynamic work can often look and examine the root of behaviors and woundings, connecting the past with the present.

I focus on adults of all ages who are experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss as well as those trying to understand relationships and the events that have shaped them. I hope to provide a safe environment in which to develop and explore insights that will encourage and enable growth and well-being. I will endeavor to help identify motivations, desires and personal ethics and the facility to express them. My frame of reference is largely psychodynamic (meaning that the unconscious mind affects conscious feelings, thoughts and behavior) but may draw from other orientations when suitable.

I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Presbyterian, and Medicaid.
At times, we can feel closed off, disconnected, or overwhelmed by hurt and self-protection. This may show up as self-criticism, low self-confidence, anger, isolation, unhealthy relationship patterns, or a sense of feeling stuck. When these experiences persist, they can affect many areas of life and how we relate to ourselves and others. My role is to support you in reconnecting with your inner resources and developing the tools needed to heal past wounds, restore balance, and move forward with greater clarity and ease.
