First, I am already so proud of you for making the choice to enter the counseling journey. Taking the first step is often scary and challenging. I hope to hold a safe space for you, while you courageously step into healing and self-exploration. We ALL need support as social and interconnected beings. Society, our upbringings, our individual and collective experiences influence the coping tools, behaviors, beliefs/thoughts that we hold on to. These all work for a period of time in our lives, and at some point, no longer work for us. In therapy, we can unlearn these unhealthy thinking patterns and learn new ways to heal and cope.

Are you and your spouse/partner struggling with trust, communication, or intimacy? Is your daughter or son having difficulties? Are you noticing changes in behavior/attitude? Are you concerned about substance use? Is there anything else that is upsetting to you or your loved ones? Are there problematic issues in your workplace or business? Are there new opportunities or possibilities you want to explore in your life and relationships?

For 21 years I have been a psychotherapist in private practice. I also ran a prescription management practice for several years so I understand the role of medication. At this time I want to work with clients who are driven to grow and heal. Often people come to therapy because they find themselves lost and confused in their lives. My clients tell me they appreciate my "warm heart" and rational mind because together we create a path for them to move forward with grace. It is most important to me that you learn who you are and how to be the happiest, healthiest, kindest and most successful you that is possible.

I'm an LCSW therapist with over 10 years of experience holding space for those who walk between emotional, cultural, and family borders. My approach is warm, direct, and deeply human. I don’t offer magic formulas—but I do offer a safe space where you stop losing yourself in others and start finding your way back to you. Here, we don’t heal to fit in—we heal to break free.

I have been privileged to witness some of the most amazing transformations in people by offering my therapeutic alliance and support.

Being present and in charge of your mental health right now can feel impossible. It’s hard to feel like you have a grip on everything all the time and be a “functional human” within society. I personally believe healing starts with understanding yourself, your patterns, and your needs. Learning the why behind your emotions and behaviors can be deeply empowering, and I’m here to support you through that process! I specialize in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, intimacy concerns, and identity exploration, always through a lens of empathy, and respect.

Life can be complicated and is rarely straightforward. There are thousands of self help books out there on how to make your life meaningful. They can be helpful. However in my experience it is not always the actual knowledge of what makes life meaningful, it is the timely application of this knowledge and experiencing the feeling of accepting oneself. We often know why we want to make changes to better our life, we just don't always know how.

I work with clients in New Mexico and Colorado. I focus on creating a neuroqueer- and BIMPOC-affirming space where individuals can deconstruct old narratives and rebuild a stronger foundation of self. My clients seek art therapy and neuro-affirming assessments because they've often felt unseen with talk-based therapies rooted in dominant culture ideas of "success" and "normalcy". Ultimately, most folks want to feel more safe in their ability to live authentically and sustainably.

I am a Clinical Social Worker and a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. I do individual, couples, and family therapy. I believe we are each uniquely created and my job as a therapist is to help each person recover who they were meant to be before they became wounded by their life's circumstances. In my practice I have seen healing take place when my clients take responsibility for themselves. I have helped clients come to terms with addiction, relationship problems, codependency and family issues. I am guided by a deep commitment to my faith and my local church.

I am passionate about helping others find healing from the complexities of life. I treat a variety of mental health concerns and work with all people across the lifespan from a trauma informed, neurodivergent affirming, humanistic, and attachment-based theoretical lens. I have found that therapy works best and is most meaningful when it is individualistic which is why I am fond of a prescriptive approach to therapy.

I’m currently a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at New Mexico Highlands University, and I bring nearly seven years of experience as an integral coach. My work is grounded in a holistic, person-centered approach- meaning I see people as more than just thoughts or symptoms, but as whole human beings shaped by their body, emotions, relationships, and life experience. At the core of my work is creating a space where you don’t have to perform, fix yourself, or have it all figured out- just a place where you can show up honestly and be met there.
