I work with adolescents and adults who carry a lot of responsibility or pressure, yet often feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves. Many struggle with self-doubt, stress, unresolved past experiences, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach that emphasizes safety, trust, and understanding, while offering a supportive, non-judgmental space to gain relief, insight, and skills to show up more fully and authentically in life.

Life can be hard. Give yourself the gift of a confidential, safe space to talk with a caring, trained professional who seeks to understand you, listens to what’s troubling you, and helps you find your strengths to make it through difficult times. I have been a therapist for more than 20 years. I enjoy working with all kinds of people: young people navigating adulting, those going through all sorts of life transitions, and people who are committed to self-care and growth.

I have a passion for Jungian depth psychology and Transpersonal psychology.
Therapy is a verb. It is an active process that requires your participation and engagement as well as my own. I am passionate about helping you make real changes within yourself and thus your life. Maybe you already know what you want to address or perhaps something in your external world has turned your life upside down. Whatever is driving you here, I would be a good fit for you if you want a therapist that is equally active and invested in your process of change.

My hope for our work together is that you can begin to process and engage the pain that we so often don’t want to make space for. Instead of ignoring or pathologizing whatever has gotten you stuck, we will explore ways to honor and grow from these realities.

While you may be in search of psychotherapy because something is troubling you, or there is a specific problem that you want help with, I consider it my duty to help you obtain more than that. I endeavor to help people achieve a life worth loving. One that nourishes your mind, body, and spirit. I believe that all human beings can have such a life if given the tools and support they need and if they are properly motivated. We will begin therapy by envisioning what this life looks like for you. Then plot a course together to help you get there. I look forward to the opportunity of joining you on this journey.

How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
