I am currently accepting clients. You know how sometimes you start out your life and think you know how it will go…and then it doesn’t. Sometimes that is when therapy and understanding yourself in a new way can be the most helpful.

Everyone has the capacity to heal no matter how profoundly wounded they are. Each individual's path to healing will be unique and for the best chance of long term recovery a person needs to find a healthy balance within their body, mind and spirit. It is my intention to help each client find the unique treatment team to help them achieve this balance. Additionally, I am experienced in affective, eating and personality disorders, substance abuse and trauma. I also understand how each of these interact with one another and can cause even more distress within each person.

Is your nervous system feeling overwhelmed- like it doesn’t have enough safety or support to return to calm? Our bodies can stay in survival mode, even after the danger is gone. This feels like anxiety, shutdown, irritability, numbness, or feeling on edge. The nervous system learns to scan for threat instead of safety. Your healing involves helping the body re-learn regulation, safety, and flexibility so it can move out of survival and back into connection and balance. We understand this is not a personal failure—it’s the body doing its best to survive. Our therapists are here to help gently retrain & restore your nervous system.

I utilize evidence-based approaches to identify negative cycles and behaviors with individuals, couples, and families. I have experience treating a large range of issues, but the primary reasons people come to see me are depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. I explore interpersonal connections and relationship patterns with clients to build stronger connections and a more positive sense of self. I like to apply empathy-based techniques and humanistic approaches to enact positive adaptive behaviors, acceptance, and change in clients.
