By providing a safe, supportive environment in which clients can explore difficult issues, they begin to find their voice to express themselves, while gaining personal insight, and starting on a path of healing. I am a Licensed Marital Family Therapist and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marital Family Therapists. In my private practice, in the lovely village of Corrales just outside of both Rio Rancho and Albuquerque. I work with adult individuals helping all my clients begin to build stronger 'internal bridges', which support them in reconnecting with their heart, mind, and spirit.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Prior to moving to Santa Fe, much of my clinical training and experience occurred at the Children's Hospital Colorado on the Eating Disorder Unit and in the general outpatient clinic. My areas of expertise include eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identify development, perfectionism, personal growth, relationship difficulties, and parent-child issues. Furthermore, I have expertise in children and adolescents with food refusal and atypical eating difficulties. My approach is collaborative and solution focused to manage stress, resolve conflict, reduce symptoms, improve relationships, and make changes.

I work with couples and individuals who are struggling with their own life issues. The focus can be on relationships, work, economics, sexuality, children, family , etc. There is often some depression, or anxiety. Changes are addressed easily, naturally with techniques that are easy to use and maintain. My compassionate, caring approach helps you to address your concerns more easily. I also work with survivors of abuse - sexual abuse, verbal abuse, emotional abuse. Other grief work includes the death of a child, a loved one, a parent. My years of experience are my best assets for you and your life situations.

Parent-Child interaction and helping families to identify coping strategies is my passion; I have been working with children and parents for the past 11 years. My theoretical orientation is rooted in Experiential Play Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. By using a child directed approach with families, children are able to form close and secure relationships with others, understand and manage their feelings, and feel safe to learn and explore.

I provide therapy services to children (age 9+), adolescents, and adults, through individual, couples, or family therapy .
