My primary work is with adults who have experienced trauma as a child and are living with that impact in their lives. Some of the trauma may be intergenerational. Oftentimes the impact will result in anxiety or panic attacks. My practice is to be WITH my clients in working through the past.

I'm an LCSW therapist with over 10 years of experience holding space for those who walk between emotional, cultural, and family borders. My approach is warm, direct, and deeply human.
I don’t offer magic formulas—but I do offer a safe space where you stop losing yourself in others and start finding your way back to you. Here, we don’t heal to fit in—we heal to break free.

All families are unique and beautiful in their own way. Families shift and change with new members through marriage and children and change due to loss with death or divorce. We all need a safe space to process through different developmental stages in life’s transitions. Grace Therapy Services supports individuals and families through systems change. We use a family-centered and systems approach to individual change, which means that even when we see you individually for therapy, the focus is on change through a strengths-based systemic lens.

I have over 30 years of experience as a therapist.. I integrate different approaches to support holistic (Body, Mind, Spirit) wellness. I use different methods; often combining aspects of different approaches, to work with the preferences of the client. I am grounded in Humanistic Psychology, that is, the view that humans are essentially good and naturally evolve into amazing versions of themselves. Emotional pain tells us simply what needs our attention now.

Hello! My approach is to treat clients with respect, acceptance, non-judgement, and empathy (Person Centered theory) viewing clients as their unique selves, learning about them and what will work best for their healing.
I also incorporate an integrated approach, meaning I will use interventions from other therapeutic models. I have been a licensed mental health counselor for just over a decade (went back to college later in life). Since 2020, I've worked as a telehealth mental health counselor; finding it to be incredibly beneficial tool for therapy.
I do my best to have counseling be a healing and learning experience for you.

Welcome. I work particularly well with women who have experienced complex trauma and often find themselves in the role of caretaker—tending to everyone else’s needs while neglecting their own. Many of my clients are deeply compassionate, highly capable, and appear strong on the outside, yet silently carry emotional pain, anxiety, or burnout. Therapy offers a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.
My approach is warm and collaborative. I help you reconnect with yourself, set boundaries without guilt, and begin healing in a way that honors your resilience and your need for rest and restoration. You deserve support too!

Everyone is subject to have problems come up from time to time. Seeking out help is often not easy, and especially from someone you don't know. The fact that you are on this page is a big step to take, and I commend you for that step. If you are currently looking for support for anything from a life transition to something that has been a little more long term, my hope is that you will take the courageous step forward in facing your difficulty. My view on facing hardships in life is that none of us need to do it alone, and the only way over a difficulty is to go through it.

Dr. Gary "Skip" Ritter says he feels a connection when helping others develop insight to make positive changes in their lives. Skip believes that thoughts and feelings are the impetus that drive human behavior. His approach then to therapy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Theory. In creating a paradigm shift from negative thoughts and feelings to increased positive thoughts and feelings, maladaptive behaviors often dissipate. Skip also believes that traumatic experiences exacerbate the lives of many of his clients and therefore, utilizes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
