We all know what anxiety feels like.
If you answer “yes” to any of the following questions, you may have an anxiety disorder. Are you plagued by fears that you know are irrational, but can’t shake it? Does anxiety interfere with your work, school, or family responsibilities? Are you constantly tense, worried, or on edge? Do you feel like danger and catastrophe are around every corner?

You may look like you have it together on the outside, but inside you’re anxious, exhausted, and disconnected from yourself.
My approach is holistic and somatic- we work with the mind and body. Therapy with me may include traditional talk therapy alongside tools like breathwork, mindfulness, nervous system regulation and movement. I also offer walk and talk therapy sessions, which clients find helpful for reducing anxiety and processing emotions in a more natural and relaxed way.

Many of my clients feel disconnected from themselves and struggle with boundaries, self-worth, anxiety, or relationships.
I help adults understand how childhood trauma and CPTSD have shaped their relationships, self-worth, and sense of identity. Through self-awareness, boundary work, and intentional action, we'll move beyond survival mode and toward a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned. Telehealth services available in Arkansas, Colorado, and New Mexico.

My work focuses on restoring the balance within the body (insomnia, anxiety, inattention, impulsivity) and within relationships (anger, sadness, grief, loss, migration, trauma, abuse) through various methods (Hypnosis, EMDR, Reiki, Limpias, Play therapy).

I work with high‑functioning adults and professionals who want clarity—not therapy. My clients come to me when they’re navigating burnout, ADHD/executive function concerns, trauma patterns, workplace stress, or leadership challenges and need evaluator‑grade insight. I provide structured psychological assessments, personality and leadership profiling, workplace functional evaluations, and psychological coaching for growth and performance. I also accept employer‑provided professional development funds. I do not provide WAIS testing, neuropsych evaluations, or crisis response.

I have expertise in treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and grief.
If you are looking for support to heal, recover, grow, make a change-maybe all of the above-then you've taken an important step in seeking therapy. I work from three core beliefs: The first is that you have the inner wisdom and resources to heal, find balance, and achieve your goals. The second is that my role as your therapist is to be your trusted collaborator in this process. The third is that psychotherapy is the space and alliance that we hold uniquely together and especially for you to do this work.

Therefore, I like to incorporate holistic ways to destress, sleep better and fuel our bodies to help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
As a Clinical Counselor, I believe individuals are always capable of change. I work hard to provide an environment that allows clients to explore their beliefs and circumstances. I work collaboratively with each client towards positive change and self-improvement. Goals take time to achieve due to the complex nature of human behavior, so I ask you to have patience with the therapeutic process. My work is rooted in evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches and mind-body practices including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and Mindfulness CBT.

When should I seek treatment for anxiety?
Everyone feels anxious at times, but when anxiety causes disruption to your daily life, it may be time to seek help. Such disruption can be mental, physical, or both: having fear dominate your thoughts, avoiding situations or objects that bring on feelings of anxiety, or experiencing shortness of breath, sweating, dizziness, or panic attacks. When these symptoms are recurrent and distressing, it may be time to talk to someone.

What are the most common types of treatment for anxiety?
Talk therapy, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, is the most common treatment for anxiety. Studies have shown it is equally effective as medication. Other popular forms of therapy are popular, depending on a patient’s experience. Exposure therapy, for instance, can be useful for people dealing with fears and phobias, or who have experienced traumatic events. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy may be useful for patients who need help with emotion regulation. Anxiolytic medications, like benzodiazepines, can also help with calming a person enough to focus on the skills they’ve learned, and physical exercise has been shown to help symptoms of anxiety across the board.

How long does therapy for anxiety take to work?
The amount of time needed to alleviate symptoms depends on the severity of a person’s condition. Some therapies may take 5-20 weekly sessions to show results. Anti-depressant medications typically take two to four weeks before a benefit is felt. Anti-anxiety medications are felt typically within 20-30 minutes. Medications are best used to offer a patient a better headspace in which to work on techniques learned in therapy. Exercise, improved sleep habits, and meditation are effective, but takes weeks or months to show results.

How effective is treatment for anxiety?
Treatment for anxiety has been shown to be moderately to highly effective, according to a large body of psychology studies and analyses. For some people, treatment using CBT or exposure therapy alone is effective. Others respond best to a combination of medication and therapy.
