I'm Brittany Feghali, and I believe that the connection between therapist and client is one of the most powerful tools for change. I strive to create a safe, validating, and empowering space where you feel seen, heard, and supported and yes, sometimes we laugh, too. I often incorporate humor into sessions when appropriate, because healing doesn’t always have to be heavy to be meaningful. No two people are the same, and therapy shouldn't be either. I tailor each session to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches like EMDR, DBT (including DBT for PTSD), IFS, CBT, and more. My goal is to meet you where you are.

It's time to totally shake it up. Forget what you think you know about therapy or what you need to do to change your life... Making that level of change means confronting Truth and fundamentally changing yourself. I won't sugarcoat it and I certainly won't lie to you: I will tell you what you need to know and guide you toward making the proper choices in your life. And I'll prove it to you right now: I tell you outright that I can't fix you. No one can. The only person that has that sort of power over you IS you. This involves hard choices in learning how to manage your life. And I will stand beside you every step of the way.

I often work with the quiet desperation that comes from long-term mental suffering. Maybe you’ve been resilient for years, but all the pain has returned from a traumatic childhood; maybe you have recently been diagnosed with autism after years of masking; maybe you survived cancer or are living with chronic illness; maybe you have chronic pain. I’m here to help you create a future self, in light of your past selves and current self. Through understanding and accepting your historical and current context without shame, it is possible to change and create more valued actions and the life that is worth living for you.

I am a licensed social worker (LSW) with goals to provide judgment-free, supportive spaces for clients. In our sessions, we can process emotions, manage daily stressors, and learn healthy coping skills to incorporate in life for years to come. I understand that asking for help is not an easy thing to do. If it were, we would all do it without hesitation! I want to remind you of two indisputable facts; first, life is challenging. Second - and most importantly - is that we do not have to go through it alone.

Life can hit hard. Sometimes it’s anxiety that won’t shut up, depression that flattens everything, anger that flares faster than you’d like, or patterns you swore you’d never repeat. Whatever it is — if you’re here, something isn’t working. And you’re ready for it to change. Therapy with me isn’t stiff, robotic, or “so how does that make you feel?” on repeat. It’s real. It’s honest. It’s tailored to you. We’ll get curious about what’s driving your patterns, call out what’s not serving you anymore, and build tools that actually work in your real life — not just in theory.

Hi there! I'm Andrew. I am here to listen and help you figure out your best path forward. I’ve always been inspired by the many ways people have faced and overcome the great challenges of life. I have marveled at the resiliency, perseverance, and wisdom of people in difficult situations. My focus in therapy involves building on the strengths you already wield in facing your problems while also exploring new strategies for where you are still stuck. Though there is little we can do to avoid uncomfortable, unpleasant, or even painful emotions, we can find a way through. The human spirit is powerful, and we can make things better.

Sleep or Insomnia Therapists
How effective is treatment for insomnia?
The most effective treatments for insomnia are behavioral techniques that reduce anxiety, including anxiety about falling asleep, and allow the body’s natural cycles to be recalibrated. The most common treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), which researchers have found to be more useful than medication, with rates of success as high as 80 percent.

Are there specific medications for sleep problems?
There are many medications, both over-the-counter and prescription that treat sleep problems. Supplements such as melatonin are popular and may help, though there is little evidence that it is more effective than a placebo. Prescription medications such as zolpidem are sometimes prescribed.

Are there natural treatments for sleep problems?
There are many natural treatments for everyday sleep problems. Reducing blue-light emitting screens, setting a regular bedtime, regular exercise, reducing caffeine and nicotine consumption, and keeping the bedroom dark and cool at night are all lifestyle changes that can help those who struggle with sleep but may not reach the level of an insomnia diagnosis.

What’s the difference between having trouble falling asleep and insomnia?
Life events, stress, and anxiety can lead to sleepless nights for everyone from time to time. To be diagnosed with insomnia, a patient must experience trouble falling asleep, trouble remaining asleep, waking up too early, or non-restorative sleep at least three nights per week for at least one month. Sleep problems affect one-third to one-half of the population, while chronic insomnia affects about 10 to 15 percent of people.
