I provide compassionate care to my clients, seeking to speak wisdom and truth into their lives in practical ways that help promote emotional healing and hope. Anxiety, panic, OCD, depression, overcoming trauma, grief, as well as serious mental illness all require specialized treatment which I would be privileged to help you apply to your life struggles. My background includes training in empirically supported therapies, and I seek to match my therapeutic approach to my clients. I don't discriminate based on any factors (race, gender, religion), although I have special training in helping people integrate their faith to facilitate healing.

As a newly licensed associate counselor and lay Christian counselor, I have honed my expertise in women's issues, trauma-informed care, emotional disturbance, and family conflict. I am passionate about educating and instilling a deep understanding of mental health disorders, trauma, and the importance of nurturing a healthy relationship with oneself.

It is hard to say what my ideal client is because I believe that I am capable of working with various types of people and that each person is unique. Even with a "challenging" client, I have learned a lot and found value in the work. With that being said, my ideal client has a history of trauma that has impacted their ability to connect with others and themselves. They are struggling with body image, intrusive thoughts, and anxiety about how others are perceiving them. They want to be empowered to advocate for themselves when necessary and create a wellness routine that serves as a preventative measure for mental health problems.

Most of my clients are people who have lost sight of how awesome they actually are whether that be due to some sort of trauma, a bad or unfulfilling relationship, a chronic illness, or a mental health disorder. They are people looking to make sense of their realities and to learn how to manage them. My clients are mostly adolescents and adults, but I will see children who are capable of handling the telehealth format.

I am a licensed professional counselor that has been working in behavioral health for over 20 years. I am a lifelong resident of South Jersey and obtained my Bachelors and Masters degrees from La Salle University in Philadelphia.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and well being of my clients. For my undergraduate degree, I moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.

My ideal clients are people who have been unable to find someone they can pull back the veil covering their heart because of past betrayals, lack of trust, cultural roadblocks, or some other barrier that keeps the true source of their burden hidden. You are looking for a space where you can be honest, not with me, but with yourself. You're looking for someone who can listen without judgment and accompany you on your healing journey. You are seeking someone to either walk with you through your journey and hold you accountable for the goals you set for yourself or for someone who can simply listen with an open mind.

I believe strongly that clients come in all different shapes and sizes and from different walks of life. Therefore, I do not have an ideal client, as my wish is to help anyone who needs it regardless of their experiences, needs, and goals. I welcome the experiences I will gain from having diverse clients.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in group and individual settings. Many youth are feeling the impact of the political atmosphere, and extreme transitions of their social and personal identities. Our environments are constantly changing, relationships shifting, and therapy can be a place for you to process your feelings and experiences.
