It takes courage to start therapy. To become aware of old beliefs & behaviors that no longer work. To be open to healing from the past and creating a more authentic & fulfilling future. I use an integrative approach, combining Psychodynamic theory, CBT, as well as concepts from Evolutionary Psychology to guide my clients through this process. As needed, I also add in several science-based stress management interventions, such as: breathing techniques, progressive muscle relaxation, positive visualizations, etc. My clients report they feel more relaxed, less reactive and just generally happier over time.
