Namaste, a small introduction to what I do, who I am and where I come from. I am a bilingual, bi-cultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned my Masters degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I began my path as a Social Worker to help people be the best version of themselves. I have many years of experience providing individuals with tools to overcome any obstacles they are facing. As a LCSW of South Asian decent, I understand the cultural nuances, generational trauma and cultural identity struggles that many people experience.

I have had over 20 years of privilege testing this axiom with many brave souls. Once these individuals made a decision to not be ashamed of their suffering and peel the layers of their pain; they were able to set themselves free of it and create space for increased peace, joy and freedom. My integrative approach to counseling and ability to apply both Eastern and Western philosophies/approaches helps this goal in measured and timed steps.

Depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or just discontent with current life and a quest for something more are some of the things that I can help address by utilizing my 25 years of experience in promoting mental health.
