When working with
children
, adolescents, and families, change involves not just the individual but also the whole family unit addressing challenges with attachment, academic issues, social and emotional issues, emotional regulation, family changes, divorce, alcohol and drugs, loss, anxiety, transitions and parenting.
I appreciate you taking an interest in my practice. Whether new to counseling or having had experience in the past, therapy is a courageous step to personal growth and change! I respect that each person has unique needs. With training in a variety of therapeutic approaches including interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, emotion theory and affective neuroscience, body-focused approaches, and transformational studies, an individualized plan will be developed to meet your goals. I am inspired by those individuals who have had difficult life experiences or challenging situations. My most rewarding experience continues to be a facilitator of growth and change in a safe accepting environment.
