I am an experienced licensced clinical therapist providing counseling services to adults, adolescents & children. I will help give you the skills to improve your life and facilitate positive and effective changes. We will work together to understand and work through the issues. My work experience consists of providing individual, family & group therapy at Somerset Medical Center Outpatient Program (dual diagnosis) helping adults manage their illness. Also, was employed at Princeton Behavioral Health working with Trauma Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT & Process). I am currently seeing clients both in person and virtual.

Welcome to my practice. I specialize in treatment with children, adolescents, and adults using a relational/cognitive behavioral approach. I work with anxiety/ depressive disorders, trauma disorders, sexual behavior problems, marital/family matters, and high conflict situations, including post-divorce issues. I am happy to offer confidential, professional counseling in a safe and relaxed setting. With 20 years of practice, I am confident that people can work toward change and really make it happen. Working with adolescents, adults, couples and families, I will walk alongside you to guide you through the journey of discovery, healing and change. I offer individual therapy, consultations, and home visits. Therapy topics I work with are (but not limited to): Depression, anxiety (all mood disorders), relationship issues, divorce, stress management, trauma, caregiver stress and fatigue, living with dementia, self-esteem, coping skills, and life transition. I also offer clinical supervision to social workers looking to obtain clinical licensure.

Using a collaborative, systemic approach, I bring compassion, experience and insight to each session. I strive to create a safe place for clients to address issues using research based strategies. I treat clients with dignity and respect. I emphasize a positive nuts and bolts appproach in helping people set goals and achieve them as rapidly as possible. My approach is successful in treating relationship issues of married and unmarried couples, life transitions,including the transition to parenthood, parenting conflicts,family issues, alternative lifestyles,multicultural relationship issues, postpartum depression, divorce, depression, anxiety, bereavement post traumatic stress, and acute stress disorder.

I am an experienced, compassionate, licensed marriage and family therapist in the community who has effectively supported and treated many individuals, couples, and families through major and minor life transitions over the years. Grief , trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, betrayal, divorce, parenting, work and life- stressors have a way of affecting us all, individually and relationally.
