I enjoy working with diverse populations and find that I am able to easily build rapport with most who seek out therapy. My overall therapy style is eclectic. I find that people are diverse individuals who need an individualized approach. While Cognitive Behavioral Therapy underlies my therapeutic model, I often add Mindfulness as well as Positive Psychology tools. I also find that Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy is also a very successful approach for many people. Oftentimes, people lose sight of their strengths and when exploring together, they find that they have more resources than they realize.

You may appear successful, capable, or composed on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, anxious, or exhausted from carrying too much for too long. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, better understand yourself, and move toward a more grounded and connected way of living.

Now accepting new clients for September. You don't need a formal diagnosis to seek care. The overwhelming feelings, stress, and exhausting cycles stemming from life challenges (relationship strain, career shifts, substance use, intrapersonal or family conflict, infertility, social norms, or cultural dynamics) are reason enough to consider therapy. I support individuals facing these realities and more. Together, we unpack these layered experiences and build practical, tailored tools to help you navigate life's transitions and stressors, break unwanted cycles, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and lasting peace of mind.

While many of my patients seek support for the effects of heightened stress, I have particular expertise as a licensed addiction counselor, and I have spent many years working with family members too. My patients are curious to explore the broad dimensions of their lives, and uncover, and change destructive patterns. Never a day goes by that I fail to appreciate the privilege I’ve been given to share in this process of change. While the challenges of addictive families are indeed unique, the overturning of effective coping strategies is generalizable. The acquisition of improved skill sets can markedly improve these.

I am currently thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail as part of my own mental health journey and am not accepting new clients at this time. I anticipate returning in January 2027 and will update my availability as that time approaches!

Life transitions, relationships in flux, maybe you haven't felt like yourself recently. Navigating hard emotions that keep you up a night, or preoccupy thinking, might be holding you back from enjoying activities and relationships you once did. Reasons for seeking therapy are unique and individual to you. You are deserving of a therapist who will build a space for you to be vulnerable with your story and emotions. Together, we can build a path forward through empathetic processing, acceptance, skill building, and goal planning.

I've been a therapist for the past 8 years. I've found asking help to be one of the hardest things a person can do in life. For those who are ready to ask, I'm ready to be the person to help you. I emphasize creating a safe environment and adapting to what my clients need.

Identity After Impact - Who I Become After Everything Changes... Sometimes you have to go back before you can reach tomorrow. Life can change in an instant. A relationship ends. A career takes an unexpected turn. A medical diagnosis arrives. A loss shakes your foundation. A mistake lingers. Or perhaps you've simply reached a point where you're asking yourself: "Who am I now?" My work focuses on Identity After Impact—helping people navigate major life disruptions and redefine who they are on the other side.
