I specialize in treating children and teenagers (with over 15 years experience in education!) and I am fully trained in ERP therapy which is an evidence based treatment for various anxiety disorders.
My ideal client is someone who has been battling anxiety for a long time. Maybe they've tried different strategies, maybe they've tried therapy before, but nothing seems to work. Their anxiety is overwhelming because it seems to be making all the rules in their lives preventing them from enjoying the day to day.
I am looking to work with clients who need structure and support but are also willing to put in the work using evidence based strategies so they can enjoy their lives again after struggling to manage their anxiety.

I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, ERP, and trauma-focused care tailored to your needs.
You look like you’re holding it together—but inside, you’re exhausted. Your nervous system feels fried, your mind doesn’t shut off, and you’re carrying far more than anyone realizes. Maybe you became a mom and suddenly nothing feels like it used to. Maybe you’ve always had a busy brain (ADHD, AuDHD), or you’ve been in survival mode for so long that “rest” doesn’t even feel safe.
Many of the women I work with are high-functioning on the outside and quietly unraveling on the inside. They’ve often tried therapy before and found it helpful— but not transformative. They want deeper, more embodied change, not just insight.

Are you successful, capable, and outwardly “holding it together,” yet internally feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in cycles of self-doubt and overthinking? Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning adults who grew up in emotionally immature or dysfunctional families and learned early how to perform, achieve, care-take or people-please in order to survive. While these patterns may have helped you cope in the past, they can now show up as chronic anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional numbness, difficulty trusting others, or feeling disconnected from yourself.

I love supporting adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, ADHD, codependency, boundary-setting, and challenging family dynamics. I particularly enjoy young adults, early professionals, and seniors navigating life transitions and seeking to understand themselves more deeply. We will explore attachment styles and patterns from early childhood that may impact you now and practice mindfulness and boundary work. With anxiety and OCD, I use exposure techniques and Jeffrey Schwartz’s Brainlock and 4Rs to reduce intrusive thoughts and compulsive thoughts and behaviors. See if I'm accepting new clients and book online.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.
Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.
How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.
What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
