We all face struggles in life. Maybe relationships or sexual behavior seem "crazy” or consuming. Or maybe you struggle to connect with others, with staying present, with extreme eating habits, spending or another kind of compulsive behavior. Maybe your job exposes you to daily risk and tragedy and you're feeling the weight of it. You may struggle to manage emotions, anxiety, loneliness, grief. All my clients deal with these kinds of things. It’s no coincidence they've also usually dealt with abuse, family dysfunction or trauma. Many have PTSD, CPTSD or dissociative disorder.

I believe healing happens as we experience healing relationships. In our time together, we will work to build trust amongst us to help you transform. The therapeutic process can be a mirror for how you show up for yourself and navigate your personal relationships — as we build safety and capacity in the therapy room, you will simultaneously realize that you hold much more safety and capacity within yourself. As an Indian-American therapist, I welcome discussions around intersectionality, identity, and how our difference/sameness affects our therapeutic relationship.

Survival mode is exhausting. You may feel trapped in a cycle of hypervigilance, shutdown, or a persistent sense that something is “off.” Whether you are carrying the weight of complex trauma and attachment wounds, or reeling from the sharp disorientation of betrayal, these experiences live in your body. You find yourself replaying the past, checking for safety, and doubting your own reality. You deserve more than just "coping skills"—you deserve a path out of anxiety, depression and fear leading to steadiness, clarity, and a life where you feel grounded, connected, and confident once again.

No waitlist as of 3/2026! Even capable men can get stuck. On the outside, things look good. You’re handling things and providing well for those you care about. But inside, you’re fighting a losing battle—unwanted porn use or other sexual behaviors that continue despite your best efforts. You’ve tried stopping on your own. Pushing through works for a while, then the pattern and the shame return. You’re worn down, worried about where this leads, and what it may cost your relationship. This isn’t a lack of discipline or willpower. In addiction, something deeper is driving the cycle. Real change requires more than generic therapy.

For over 25 years it has been my passion to help men and women become the person they want to be. My clients find me compassionate, accepting, understanding, and caring. I have a heart for working with men, especially, in all their areas of woundedness. Those wounds can be expressed in covert depression, relational problems, anxiety, perfectionism, feeling disconnected, and compulsive sexual behaviors. I also have an expertise in working with individuals whose personal faith in God is important to them. However, I respect and work well with those with no belief in God or beliefs different than mine.

Sexual Addiction Therapists
When should someone seek treatment for sex addiction?
People should seek treatment for sex addiction if they cannot control their sexual thoughts or behaviours to the point that it disrupts their ability to function in daily life, for example by threatening their finances, career, or relationships. This may include spending an excessive amount of time obsessing over sex, planning sex, watching pornography, or masturbating, as well as consistently engaging in risky sexual activities, using sex to escape distressing feelings, or attempting yet failing to control sexual behavior.

What are the most common treatment options for sex addiction?
Psychotherapy is the most common treatment for sex addiction; therapy helps patients better understand their compulsive thoughts and behaviors and develop strategies to manage their desires. Therapy may be supplemented by medications, such as antidepressants, mood stabilizers, anti-androgens, and the alcohol and substance use medication Naltrexone, as well as support groups, such as 12-step programs.

How long does therapy take for sex addiction?
Recovering from compulsive behavior takes time and effort. There’s no precise timeline for treatment, but research suggests 12 therapy sessions may be enough to see change. Treatment for sexual compulsions requires honesty in therapy, a commitment to understanding triggers and developing coping skills, and potential lifestyle changes such as cutting out alcohol or drugs.

What if sex addiction is left untreated?
Compulsive sexual behavior can have serious repercussions if left unaddressed. For example, if sexual obsessions consume the vast majority of a person’s time, they may lose their job. If they can’t stop paying for sex, their finances may suffer. If they’re dishonest in their relationships, their partner may leave them. If they consistently feel shame, they may struggle with anxiety, depression, or loneliness. Therapy can help people develop the tools to manage sexual thoughts and behaviors that feel uncontrollable.
