I work with individuals and couples using cognitive and psychodynamic methods to treat depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. I also offer life coaching to help you meet your life goals and find greater life satisfaction. Relationship and marriage counseling focuses on rekindling friendship and improving communication. Our focus will be on reducing mental health symptoms, clearing the roadblocks that are preventing you from accomplishing goals, and helping you move forward toward greater happiness and contentment.

My name is Elrita M. Godbold and I am a licensed clinical therapist with fourteen years experience providing evidence based treatment to a diverse client population. I have my Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and my Master's Degree in Social Work. My expertise is with trauma, anxiety and mood disorders and my passion is working with children and adults on the Autism Spectrum. My journey thus far has taken me through many different treatment settings and with people from all walks of life and all sorts of struggles. My goal is not to “fix” people but help them lead the lives that they wish to—whatever form that takes. I want to help people to recognize their power and to make their own choices. I strive to help my client to go from surviving to living.
