As spooky season arrives, your feelings don’t have to feel spooky too. If you’ve tried to “just stop thinking about it” and discovered that your brain did, in fact, have other plans, you might be dealing with more than a little overthinking. I work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, and struggles with their sense of self.

If you’re looking for someone who will simply nod along and ask, “How does that make you feel?” I may not be the right fit. My clients come to me because they want honest feedback, practical strategies, and meaningful change. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I will support you, but I will also challenge you. Therapy should be more than a place to vent—it should be a place where insight turns into action. Together, we will identify what’s keeping you stuck, confront the patterns that are no longer serving you, and develop practical solutions that move you toward the life you want.

Life rarely falls apart in obvious ways. More often, it feels quietly overwhelming. I work with adults who are thoughtful and capable yet feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves or in their relationships. Many are navigating changes, relationship challenges, career pressures, perfectionism, grief, or the lasting impact of stress. With years of experience in higher levels of care and individual therapy settings, I’ve supported clients through both acute challenges and longer-term healing. Our work begins with creating a steady, supportive space where you can speak openly, at your pace, and feel understood.

I integrate parts work ( IFS-informed), somatic awareness, DBT skills, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), along with other approaches depending on your needs.
You might feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. I specialize in helping adults heal from complex trauma (CPTSD), trauma bonds (push/pull relationships), PTSD, and attachment. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, or feeling stuck due to early family or relational experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and paced. We focus on building nervous system capacity at a tolerable speed and working with emotions that feel “stuck” rather than pushing past them. Therapy is collaborative, grounded, and consistent -well-suited for people who want sustainable change.

You're someone who keeps going. You show up for the people around you your family, your partner, your work and somewhere along the way, you stopped making space for yourself. The anxiety doesn't quiet down the way you'd like. The sadness is heavier than you can explain. And no matter how many times you've tried to push through, something still feels stuck. You don't want a quick fix. You want to actually understand yourself what drives you, what holds you back, and how to stop repeating patterns that have cost you something real. If any of that sounds like you, I'm glad you're here.

I use various approaches such as Internal Family systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice.
Do you feel like you’re drifting apart from your partner, or perhaps you’re tired of the same circular arguments that lead nowhere? Maybe you’re navigating a major life transition, or the weight of past trauma and daily anxieties has made it difficult to feel like yourself. Whether you are seeking to repair a bond or find your own footing, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore the "why" behind your struggles and the "how" of your healing.

Individuals decide they need or want therapy for a variety of reasons. Many times people do not know what to expect when they begin therapy. I describe therapy as a three phase process. Phase I: This is the beginning of the therapeutic relationship. A mutual rapport and trust develops so therapy can move into Phase 2. The majority of the therapeutic work takes place in phase 2. A person's experiences, both positive and negative, their perceptions, their values, beliefs, and thoughts are explored during this phase.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
