I am a psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. My staff and I work to provide a safe nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere focusing on the individual client's needs. I have been practicing for over 25 years. My experience has focused on children and adolescents with PTSD, ADHD, Asperger's/Autism Spectrum, Depression,Teen Issues, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Family Struggles, and Trauma. I am a licensed therapist and certified Life Coach. I am a compassionate counselor who supports each person I work with as they journey on their road to self discovery. I use a holistic approach utilizing mindfulness, relaxation and visualization. I stress self awareness and finding balance in one's life as key factors to mental health. The mind is a very powerful tool with the ability to transform our lives. I have worked extensively with a variety of mental and emotional disorders including anxiety, depression and trauma. I have 25 years experience working with individuals affected by chemical addiction.

I work with individuals to help them increase self-awareness and lead happier lives. My unique background makes me different than most therapists. In addition to being a licensed therapist, I have a PhD in Philosophy. As a therapist and life coach, I help individuals struggling with relationships, codependency, sexual compulsivity, and substance/alcohol abuse. I also work with adult children of alcoholics, those who grew up in families where emotional chaos and parent addiction may be affecting their adult relationships. In addition, I work with gay individuals and couples.

As a psychologist for 42 years, 21 years as a school-psychologist, 22 years in private practice, I am frequently asked about my areas of specialty or my modes of treatment.
