I am dually licensed LCSW, LCADC and a graduate of Rutgers University where I obtained my Masters in Social Work along with specialized training and a certificate in Addictions Counseling. I am a firm believer in building a therapeutic relationship which is based upon providing positive and client centered empathy and care in a nonrestrictive and culturally safe environment. My primary objective is to provide a comfortable and life changing experience through the change process of mental health wellness and/or addictions recovery.

In addition to being a licensed therapist, I have a PhD in Philosophy. As a therapist and life coach, I help individuals struggling with relationships, codependency, sexual compulsivity, and substance/alcohol abuse. I also work with adult children of alcoholics, those who grew up in families where emotional chaos and parent addiction may be affecting their adult relationships. In addition, I work with gay individuals and couples.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New Jersey and I have been in practice for over fifteen years. I provide individual (children and adults), couples and family therapy. As a psychologist for 42 years, 21 years as a school-psychologist, 22 years in private practice, I am frequently asked about my areas of specialty or my modes of treatment.
