I'm a relational therapist specializing in grief and loss, depression and anxiety, couples work, and life transitions. I care about creating a space for openness and honesty as you navigate the heavier parts of life. I offer practical skills for healthy communication and emotion regulation, while making sure the work goes deeper than just symptom management. Alongside that, I enjoy helping people explore a more expansive sense of identity, live closer to their values, and bring a sense of vitality into daily life.

I am a board-certified Art Therapist, so in addition to traditional talk therapy can incorporate creative practices when helpful.
Current availability: Monday- Thursday, 8am-4pm (online). If your mind feels like it never fully shuts off- constantly overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or feeling mentally exhausted, you’re not alone. I work with thoughtful, self-aware adults who feel burnt out, stuck, or anxious despite doing their best to manage everything life brings their way. Many of my clients struggle with self-doubt, people pleasing, indecision, or navigating big life transitions. I also support clients in understanding patterns around money, including spending, avoidance, and financial stress.

We use evidence-based approaches like: EMDR, Somatic Therapy, CBT, DBT, Art Therapy, ERP, IFS, Gottman Couples Counseling and more.
Does any of this sound like you? You're exhausted, anxious and stuck. Life feels overwhelming and no matter what you do, you don't feel good enough. It feels like everyone except you has it "together". Maybe you have all you wanted on paper but it you don't feel fulfilled. You beat yourself up, drink too much or are stuck in the cycle of trying the newest Tiktok welllness trend, hoping this will make you feel better. It's not working and you wonder if you will ever feel happy and content. It's time for a change.

My ideal client would be someone who is open and honest about the problem they are having and how they may have contributed to this problem (e.g. anxiety/depression). This individual would be able to participate in self-reflection and open communication. Their goal would be that they want to improve their mental health issue, with the overarching goal of living a happier better life that brings success. Ideally, this person would be motivated to make the necessary changed in their life that could lead to improvements in this mental health issue.

I'm Brittany Feghali, and I believe that the connection between therapist and client is one of the most powerful tools for change. I strive to create a safe, validating, and empowering space where you feel seen, heard, and supported and yes, sometimes we laugh, too. I often incorporate humor into sessions when appropriate, because healing doesn’t always have to be heavy to be meaningful. No two people are the same, and therapy shouldn't be either. I tailor each session to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches like EMDR, DBT (including DBT for PTSD), IFS, CBT, and more. My goal is to meet you where you are.

Art Therapy
How does art therapy work?
The process of making art allows people to express themselves. Art-making can take many forms, such as painting, collage, or sculpting. The therapist asks questions that the work elicits, such as how the person felt while creating their piece, or if any memories surfaced that they can discuss. The therapist will then work with the patient to process their experience, understand themselves better, and work toward change.

Does art therapy help with trauma?
Art therapy can be a valuable treatment option for those suffering from trauma. Traumatic experiences such as combat, rape, or childhood abuse can be so painful that articulating them can be too scary or painful; creating art allows people to express themselves without words, and tell their story in a different way. The physical nature of creating art can also help people feel rooted in the body, which may benefit those who feel disconnected from their body in the aftermath of trauma.

How long does art therapy last?
The duration of art therapy varies, but a common length for treatment is 10 to 15 weekly sessions. Some people may see improvement in just a few weeks, while others may choose to remain in therapy longer term. Patients should periodically discuss their goals with their therapist to make sure the two are aligned on process and progress.

What are the limitations of art therapy?
Art therapy is helpful for many people, but a limitation is that it doesn’t have as robust an evidence base as other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy. The evidence on art therapy is mixed; some research demonstrates its benefits, while other research suggests that it has little impact on patients.
