Does your child frequently seek reassurance that everything is going to be fine? Do they fear public speaking or meeting new people? Do they have difficulty getting going, completing school work, seeing friends? Is your child bothered by unwanted thoughts that make him/her fearful, anxious, ashamed, or guilty? I work directly with children and adults to help them learn strategies to better manage their reactions to strong emotions. For toddlers and preschoolers, I work directly with caregivers to teach and/or coach them in helpful parenting strategies to reduce tantrums, avoidance, and problematic reassurance-seeking.
