Hi, my name is Dr. Nixia Ordaya Quigley. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I completed an APA-accredited internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Trauma-Informed Care, and I am currently licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
I am deeply passionate about providing quality, compassionate care to underserved and marginalized communities. As a bilingual clinician (English and Spanish), I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and empowering.
My clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other third-wave CBT approaches.
My goal is to help clients build insight, resilience, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges while honoring their unique stories and strengths.
