I am passionate about helping children and adults to recognize, express, and manage their feelings and develop resilience, gain self-acceptance, and learn skills for self-regulation and self-expression so they can feel a full spectrum of their emotions without fear of being overwhelmed by them. I have extensive experience working with children and adults expereincing anxiety, trauma, and grief using trauma informed and strengths based approaches, and when working with clients I take into account the family and social systems they are a part of and will often integrate an understanding of those systems into therapy.
As an Art Therapist, I blend psychotherapy, creative thinking, and art making, allowing you to talk about your issues while learning ways to creatively communicate and work through them. Art-making allows you to tap into your unconscious, cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself, and utilize creative ways to cope.
I am here to provide a nurturing and supportive experience, allowing you to tap into your creative and authentic self, and help you focus on what is best about you while learning to help yourself. Let's focus on your strengths, and foster healthy changes for you and your life!
