Do you feel like your needs don't matter or have trouble identifying what they might be? Do you feel stuck in states of self-judgement or guilt? Do you feel numb or disconnected, or overwhelmed by the stressors of daily life? I believe that it is absolutely possible to transform your relationship with yourself and others, and to move through the world with a greater sense of ease and belonging. Together we'll start with building a sense of safety and connection, then gently explore the old patterns and obstacles that hold you back from your full aliveness.
Sessions integrate mind and body, talk and touch, soul and Spirit, to support the development of the Self and facilitate an embodied awareness from which to build new pathways for identity and expression. As the author of "The Mind-Body Guide to the Twelve Steps," one of my specialities is helping people in recovery deepen their recovery journey.
Relational somatics is my focus and my passion. My commitment is to provide you with a heart-centered and nurturing space that fosters awareness, insight, and new possibilities. Call for a free consultation to explore working together!

The Somatics of Recovery
This experiential class offers a mind-body approach to recovery from trauma and addiction. We explore somatics as a complement to the Twelve Steps, cultivating a felt sense of “God in the body” and taking the Twelve Steps beyond the conventional cognitive approach into one of soul recovery—a sensuously embodied spiritual path. Whether you are new to the Steps, in long-time recovery, struggling with trauma or addiction, or wishing to apply the wisdom of the Steps to your life, this class teaches you how to listen to and nurture your body as an essential part of your recovery.
