Heyyyy, it's so good to be here! Do you want real-talk, validation, and space to just be? Do you also like novelty and some fun? Loss and trauma hurt; science and attention, help. That's my approach to any issue we are addressing. With structure, you will find meaning and be attended to. Originally from Austin, I am a Tejana and have lived in the midwest and west coast with brief stints in Philly and Buenos Aires. I have worked in higher education, non-profit, and the corporate world of medicine and film. All of this informs hearing you as a storyteller and I will be direct and transparent as we work together.
We look at what is most pressing for you right now, what might be getting in the way, and ways to take new action. Within this approach, we can explore skills, relationships, emotions, body responses, systemic impacts, health, and other contexts of your daily life with some creativity and experimenting. My approaches are ACT, DBT, and lots of science.
I love to appreciate and explore aspects of your life such as but not limited to culture, generational status, caregiving, trauma, gender, sexuality, race, and career trajectory. Addressing what's bothering you isn't always easy but I am certainly here to support you through it. See you soon.
