About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in psychotherapy for adults with problems coping with trauma, perinatal and reproductive mental health, anxiety, relationship issues, and general life stressors. My therapeutic approach is personalized to address each individual's strengths, needs, and goals but grounded in gold standard, empirically-based treatment approaches. Finding the right therapist can be a difficult process - and it's important to find the right "match," both in terms of style and specialization. I offer free initial phone sessions so that we can discuss your needs and assess this fit.
As the former director of the Outpatient Trauma Clinic and founding psychologist of the LEADER outpatient clinic at McLean Hospital, I offer cutting-edge treatment for PTSD and trauma-related disorders. I also have specialized training/certification around perinatal and reproductive mental health concerns (PMH-C). I am also certified in DBT and CBT.
We are living in particularly challenging times. Sometimes people feel that their problems are aren't big enough for treatment, but these small issues can have an impact on your functioning and quality of life. I believe that the accumulation of life stressors can make life feel overwhelming and welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
