The face you show the world may be elusive. You might seem confident, happy, and proficient to others while privately feeling inauthentic or inadequate. In this work, we consider your current stressors in the context of who you have been and who you wish to be. I focus in particular on pervasive anxiety and low mood, disordered relationships to consumption (food, shopping, news/social media), sexual and religious trauma and their sequelae, relentless self-criticism, and struggles with attachment.
I hold an MSW from Columbia University and a BA from Yale College, am an advanced candidate in psychoanalysis, and also studied design at Parsons.
