Life has many challenges and sometimes they seem overwhelming. Whether you are going through a life transition, struggling with relationship issues, feeling stuck or experiencing other difficult emotions, you and I will work as a team to address your challenges. As a therapist, my goal is to listen to your needs and cultivate a constructive therapeutic relationship of equals. In a non-judgmental and supportive environment, we will develop tools that help you move forward and let you take action toward positive change. I hope to provide a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings.
My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based form of therapy that includes mindfulness, acceptance, and behavior-change strategies to increase psychological flexibility and wellbeing, with the goal of working towards a rich and meaningful life.
I am also a trained art therapist. Art therapy can be very helpful in expressing thoughts and feelings when words aren’t enough, and in uncovering new insights through the artistic process. If you are interested in exploring art therapy, we can incorporate it into our work together. No artistic ability is required!
