If we are asking about my "ideal" client, I would say that it is someone who is open-minded. Someone who knows that having struggles is OKAY. Someone who knows that their flaws do not define them. We all have flaws, and that makes us human! It takes a STRONG person to be able to say "hey, this doesn't feel good, I think I need to ask for help", and then DO IT. Life outside of our control is already so chaotic, why not make attempts to bring peace into our lives?
I work with clients of all ages and genders. I enjoy diversity in my clientele, and embrace it. I also work with families and couples. I use an integrated approach to therapy, combining CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Client Centered Therapy, Art Therapy, and Feminist Therapy.
You do not have to be alone. If you are unhappy, you do not have to be unhappy. Make some small changes. You can do it. If you need help, I am here. If you want to feel heard, validated, and empowered, please reach out. There will never, ever, be any judgement from me.
