About
At Journey Steps Counseling, I focus on helping clients cope with grief and loss, life transitions, faith shifts, religious wounding, and relationship issues. It is often hard to find safe places to process all the feelings and questions that come with loss, be it the death of a loved one (including pets), divorce, loss of a job, loss of one’s faith, and other losses great and small. Even positive transitions can bring complex emotions as we say goodbye to one season and move into another; often the sadness of leaving is not allowed to be acknowledged and we feel pressure to “cheer up” for others while facing our grief alone.
I offer my clients a non-judgmental space where all feelings and questions are welcomed to be expressed and explored. My own journey has included many life transitions, grief and loss, spiritual crisis, childhood trauma, and more, so I am familiar with those terrains. It will be an honor to come alongside you on your unique journey!
My style is warm and compassionate, with a bit of humor to lighten the load. Along with talk therapy, I offer somatic exercises, parts work, bibliotherapy, and other creative approaches to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. Please contact me for a free consultation.
