Nina Badaan Shinway's Groups
Adults Coping with Parental Mental Illness
Growing up with a mentally ill parent can be traumatic and often negatively skew one's perception of life, self and others. As a result, anxieties, insecurities, lack of belonging and rejection may develop. These challenges carry into adulthood and can influence behavioral functioning and interpersonal relationships. You are not alone! Our group provides a setting to share personal experiences, feelings, concerns, and receive feedback and support from others who share in your struggles. Group is held Thursdays from 7:00-8:00pm. Next group starts March 12, 2020. Special pricing currently offered! Contact drnina@specialpsych.com to sign up!
