Taking the first step to get in and talk to a therapist about concerns that are holding you back or creating challenges is not easy. But it can really make a difference. The issues or concerns you have may be preventing you from moving forward or from having fulfilling relationships, career or a satisfying life. Whether it's communication problems, anger, anxiety, or depression, you can make changes. Using verbal and non-verbal therapeutic techniques, in a safe, accepting environment, you can find new ways to face your concerns, and discover your strengths and resources to flourish and grow.
Sessions are interactive and offered in a person-centered approach. I work with adults, individually, as well as, couples counseling. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, stress, self-esteem, and communication issues. I also offer expressive arts therapy when helpful. I also offer telehealth sessions.
Along with traditional therapy, I have over 25 years of experience with expressive arts therapy as a teacher and therapist. Sandtray, writing, art, music, drama, movement or other creative processes can assist in self-discovery and healing. I periodically offer expressive arts groups for individuals dealing with various issues.
