I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and I provide individual therapy services to adults age 18 and up. A significant portion of my work is with young adults, however, I welcome adults of all ages. I've worked with a range of clinical issues, many centering around depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, self-esteem, life transitions, and trauma.
Using primarily a Psychodynamic approach, I work with clients to reflect upon the influence of early life experiences on various aspects of their lives, particularly current life experiences. I also incorporate some elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and other approaches as needed.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which therapist and client can discuss personal concerns, and where I can help clients gain insight and grow in order to achieve and maintain mental well-being. I truly enjoy hearing each individual's story and helping to guide them towards the self-awareness that is critical to their growth.
