I am a clinical psychologist with expertise in the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, underachievement, learning difficulties, motivation problems, and personality disorders. I especially enjoy working with families, adolescents and young adults. My background includes work within pediatric, community-based and private practice settings with individuals from diverse sociocultural backgrounds.
I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and completed additional training in Child Clinical and Pediatric Psychology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
I use an integrated approach that includes CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness approaches. I work collaboratively with each client to create a tailored treatment plan that meets his or her own unique needs and goals. I also provide personalized comprehensive evaluation services including: developmental, psychoeducational, gifted, career and personality testing.
